We'll post the new Spring 2008 schedule as soon as it becomes available.
Magnolia Field is located in North Hollywood off the 170 freeway. Take the 170 North to Magnolia and take a right. Take and immediate left and enter the parking lot. You should see the field right there by the tennis courts.
Downey Park is located near Chinatown northeast of downtown in Lincoln Heigts. The easiest way to get there is to take the 101 South to downtown and exit on Broadway. Turn left on Broadway (going north) and pass through Chinatown. You will go over a bridge that spans the LA river. The road splits in two across the bridge, stay to the right. You should see the field on the right near Passadena Ave. You could also take the 10 East to get into downtown then merge onto the 110 North and exit on College Street. This puts you into Chinatown. Go one block to the left and that is Broadway. Take another left and proceed over the bridge.
John Ferraro Field is located near the LA Zoo in Griffith Park. There are many different ways of getting there. From Hollywood take Highland Blvd. north until it turns into Cahuenga. Take a right on Barham then another right onto Forest Lawn. Stay on Forest Lawn to Zoo Drive and take a right. (Just before the 134 entrance) Follow the street around to the left and you will pass
all the old trains in Travel Town. Keep going until you can veer left onto Western Heritage Way. This should put you in the parking lot for the Gene Autry Western Heritage Museum. There is a road that splits the parking lot in half (called North Zoo Drive on the map but might not be on the signs). Take a left on this road and head for the signs that show the entrance ramp to I-5. Keep going past the entrance ramps (don't get on the highway) and follow the road as it winds down under an overpass. The fields are on your left with parking on the street.
If you are coming from the valley, you can take the 101 South to the 134. You will want to exit after Forest Lawn, I think the exit is called Riverside Drive. Take a right off the freeway and then a quick left at the stop sign. This will put you going east on Zoo Drive. Follow the directions above to get to the fields from there. If you get lost anywhere around Griffith Park just follow the directions to the Gene Autry Western Heritage Museum.
Whitsett Field is located in the valley. Take the 101 North to the 170 North. Exit on Sherman Way West. This exit will loop around forcing you to take a right on Sherman Way. Get in the left lane and take a left at the light which is Whitsett. The fields are half a block away on the left. Parking is available only on the street.
Penmar Field is located near the intersection of Penmar Blvd. and Rose Ave. in Santa Monica. Take I-10 West to Lincoln Blvd. Go south (left) on Lincoln until you get to Rose Ave. Take a left onto Rose and head east for about a forth of a mile. You will see the field on your right. Parking is available on the street.
Balboa Field is located in the Valley near the 101. Take the 101 North. Just after the 405 meets the 101, you will see the Balboa exit. Take a right on Balboa and the fields are about 1/4 mile ahead on the left near the baseball fields.
Mar Vista Field is located in the Palms area near West LA. Take the 10 West to Overland. Go south on Overland to Palms. Take a right on Palms and keep going passed the 405 overpass. You should see the field on the right before McGlaughlin.
Griffith Park is located on the corner of Los Feliz and Riverside. Take Santa Monica Blvd. east to Western. Take a left (north) on Western. It will eventually curve to the right and turn into Los Feliz Blvd. by AFI. Keep going on Los Feliz (east). Pass Vermont and Hillhurst to Riverside. It is right before the 5 freeway on your right across the street from the fountain.
Jackie Robinson is located in the hood. The easiest way to get there is to take La Brea south passed the 10 and Jefferson. The next light should be Rodeo. (There's a Rite Aid and KFC on the corner) Take a left on Rodeo and you should see the field on your left.
